Erreditre is an innovative startup and university spin-off that offers companies, businesses, and professionals services to support research and development (R&D) and design in the construction sector. By leveraging the expertise and research findings of the Construction Engineering group at the University of Bergamo, our goal is to promote the transformation of construction systems and the existing building stock to create safe, sustainable, and resilient communities.
Erreditre bridges the gap between the worlds of research and construction, meeting the needs of companies and designers and facilitating the marketing of innovative products and their application
Erreditre organizes its business into three main lines, which are distinct from one another but integrated into a single business plan:
- (R&D)1 – from RESEARCH to DEVELOPMENT: scientific support for businesses and manufacturers in the development and commercialization of innovative and sustainable structural solutions
- (R&D)2 – from RESEARCH to DESIGN: scientific support services for professionals, public administrations, and real estate asset managers in the development of sustainable renovation and maintenance projects for existing buildings—projects that are structurally, energetically, and architecturally integrated, and designed with a life-cycle perspective and an incremental approach
- (R&D)3 – from RESEARCH to DISSEMINATION: services to promote a culture of safety, resilience, and sustainability in the construction sector, aimed at engineers, technicians, and citizens
Erreditre aims to foster synergy and dialogue between the worlds of research and construction—on the one hand, by translating research into practical tools capable of generating positive impacts on society and the local community, and on the other, by transforming the sector’s concrete needs into opportunities for research and scientific inquiry.

Erreditre is therefore an R&D spin-off “to the third power,” where the 3 represents the three lines of action—from Research to Development, Design & Dissemination. It reflects an evolution from the standard concept of R&D—which becomes “from R to D”—and defines the spin-off’s position as a third entity at the intersection of the academic and industrial worlds, being a product of both but playing substantially different roles.
